This Saturday the visitors to Barrows Farm are Middlewich Town.

The Witches are one of the most established clubs in the Cheshire League and will provide difficult opposition for The Storks this Saturday.
Kick-off is 3pm so please come down to Carr Mill Lane and cheer on the lads as they attempt to keep top spot in Cheshire League Division One.

History
Middlewich has had a town football club since at least 1912,with Middlewich Athletic playing at Seddon Street since 1912. Middlewich Athletic were mid-Cheshire league champions five times between 1952 and 1975. In 1998 Middlewich Town was formed by combining Middlewich Athletic with the Middlewich Town Youth teams.

Middlewich Town Football Club consists of two Senior teams and a Youth Section comprising of teams from U8 through to U18.

The Club was awarded Charter Status in 2006 and has continued to maintain that standard to date.

The two senior teams both play in the Cheshire Football League. The 1st team play in League 1 and the Reserves play in Reserve League 1.

The Youth Teams all play in the Mid Cheshire Youth League and draw on the youngsters from Middlewich and the surrounding area.

The Club's fantastic base is at Seddon St where the main pitch, clubhouse and brand new 3G training facility are situated. The Seniors and the older youth teams use the main pitch whilst our younger teams play at the local schools of St Mary's, Cledford and Middlewich High, all of which we are proud to call our partners.

All teams use the the Club's own 3G facility for training , particularly through the winter. This is also used by the local community as the pitch can be hired.

There is an active Social Club which has been the focus of the club for many years. This is a licensed premises which which also has 5 multiscreen TVs for all Premier League Football.
