With our first team in cup action at the weekend, it was a case of sitting back and checking the results of the other games in the Premier Division.
Crewe's 2-1 win away at Knutsford saw them claim the top spot from Congleton, who had no game whilst Middlewich Town's 3-1 victory against in-form FC St Helens was probably the result of the day.

Meanwhile over in Reserve League One, Broadheath Central took the top spot with a fine away win at Daten Reserves while FC St Helens Reserves are in second place after their incredibly fortuitous 1-0 victory against ourselves.
That loss means we are in eighth place with one point after two games but considering Garswood United played half a first-team and we completely dominated the game on Saturday it can only be a matter of time before we climb the table.
