It was a day of mixed blessings for Billinge New Street on Saturday as, while they won 4-0, the result was soured by a horrific injury to influential midfielder Adam Morris.

Morris sustained a broken leg in just the second minute of the game versus Malpas and had to be taken to hospital by ambulance.
However, credit is due to both teams who went on to produce a good game of football that saw Billinge dominate throughout but only take the lead on the cusp of half-time when Jimmy Howard produced a worldie goal.
Wide on the left and from 25 yards out Howard let fly an unstoppable shot that hit the back of the net before the visiting keeper could move.
Before that Howard, the hardworking Danny Lamb and Adam Horkins both went close.
However, as the interval approached got a couple of sighters on goal - with the first going just wide of the post and another just over the bar - before his thunderbolt hit the back of the net.
It took just four minutes of the second-half for Billinge New Street to double their lead when Howard combined well with Jamie Cardwell who chested the ball into the path of Jonny Newton who fired home from 16 yards.
Cardwell then saw a great header come back off the bar before Howard got his second goal of the game - on 56 minutes - when the excellent Sean Cotterell put a lovely ball through for him to run on to and slide past the oncoming keeper.
Cotterell then got his own deserved goal on 65 minutes after fine link-up work.
There was still time for Horkins to go close and Jordon Hallwood have a free-kick tipped over the bar before the game finished 4-0.
After the game manager Steve Hallwood said: "Obviously everybody's thoughts are with Moz, and we all wish him a speedy recovery.
"As for the game - I have to be pleased with the result and the performance and I must give credit to all the squad.
"We had a few missing today - and with the early injury as well - it could have been a difficult day, but everybody gave me everything especially considering we had a tough game in midweek versus Golborne."
That performance meant that the man-of-the-match award sponsored by SC Renewables was always going to be a tough decision, but it went to Jimmy Howard for his two excellent goals and all-round non-stop performance.
