Pilkington Reserves v Billinge Reserves

A solid defensive show from Ant Farrell, Jay Parkin, Geoff Parr & Ant Higgins kept Pilks attacks to a minimum.
With Mark Bowland, Joe Unsworth and Aaron Bailey battling away in midfield the Storks gained the upper hand which they held for most of the game only to be undone by a Pilks counter attack to go one-goal down with 15 minutes to go.
This increased the sorties down both flanks with Tom Ashall & Elliot Bradshaw swinging balls into the opposition goal area with Rob Abbelwhite, Tom Ashall and Joe Unworth all going close.
Sadly Billinge just pulled up short being unluckily beaten one-nil.
