It has been goals galore at most of Billinge Reserves' games this season but down at Poynton on Saturday it was all-square and no goals.

The game started quietly but after 14 minutes Billinge had their first real attack.
Good combination work between Derek Evans and Dan Hague set up the lively Rob Ablewhite but his effort went narrowly wide.
Three minutes later the action switched to the other flank where Ant Farrell and Tom Ashall combined well before Ashall's cross just eveaded the hard-working Reece and Ablewhite.
On 21 minutes Billinge had to be on their guard as Tom Hull pulled off a great save from Poynton's big centre-forward.
It was the only really effort the big lad had as Jay Parkin had a magnificent game against him, betraying his lack of years keeping him in his back pocket for the ninety minutes.
The remainder of the half saw Billinge dominate but without creating any real chances on goal.
The second half saw Poynton come out of the blocks at Billinge but the ever-impressive Evans and Ashall looked dangerous on the break for the visitors.
On the hour mark an Evans corner saw Chris Duffy flick the ball on for Joe Unsworth who rose like a salmon but his header came back off the bar.
It was Captain Marvel Unsworth again in the action on 70 minutes; a delicious cross by Farrell found Unsworth in space but again his effort hit the bar.
With both teams looking for the win the final ten minutes were frantic.
First an Ashall strike was saved well by the home keeper while on 85 minutes the keeper pulled off an even better save from an Ablewhite strike.
Meanwhile in the final minute Hague and Hull combined brilliantly to clear off the line to keep the score at 0-0 and prevent a late defeat that would have been hard on this improving young team.
After the game manager Squash was made up with all of the 15 lads with a special mention for the unused substitutes.
He said: "It was a tough game and really hard to make any changes.
"We need a squad if we want to fulfil our potential and win honours and I stressed to the players that appearances will even themselves out in a long season.
"It was just one of those games that hung on a knife edge and I felt that the eleven on the pitch had a great chance of getting the win as well as keeping them out at the other end."
Stand out performances came from Geoff Parr, Dan Hague and Tom Hull but the man-of-the match went to Jay Parkin who is turning into a rising star amongst a very talented reserve team squad.
The reserves are next in action on Saturday (14 September) when they entertain second-placed Linotype Cheadle HN Reserves.
If you are not travelling to watch the first team at Vulcan then pop down to Barrows Farm to cheer the lads on.
Kick-off is 3pm, free entry and refreshments are available.
