It was another tough defeat after Billinge competed well for 60 minutes.
Billinge went 2-0 but they carried on fighting and got the game back 2-2 with two goals from Liam Rooke.
Billinge looked like they could kick on but simply did not have the fitness and again the many changes made by Knowlsey made all the difference
Again the reserves were left with a bare eleven and midfielder Jean Sproson had to go in nets after our normal keeper got stuck in work so it was always going to be a challenge on a very big pitch.
On the plus side ten outfield players got 90 minutes under their belts and this will be vital come game one.
