Playing just their second game this year it was an understandably rusty performance from both sides, but it was Billinge that took the spoils.
Paddy Pitchford put The Storks ahead with a well-taken goal. Finding himself through on goal the winger kept his head and slotted nicely.
Sadly, Broadheath equalised soon after and the score stayed at 1-1 at half-time.
After a good taking to during the break The Storks put in a much-approved performance and raced ahead to a 3-1 lead. Firstly, Marcos Flores - who was excellent after coming on as a substitute - finished superb form 18 yards to put us ahead.
Another substitute Connor Grainger made it 3-1 as he found himself in space after brilliant work by the excellent Michael Watkins and fired the ball into the net.
Central pulled one back which may have caused a few neves in The Storks ranks but cue Grainger with a worldie to make it 4-2!
Billinge managed the game well fr the final ten minutes to give the club a well-deserved three points.
After the game manager Day Lawro wasn't the happiest of men as he felt we were well below par and have a lot more in us which will be needed as we take on clubs at the top-of-the-table.
Next week it is a reverse fixture as the reserves travel to Broadheath Central for what is now a 3.05pm kick-off.
